Main Street Amherst has been designed to promote all aspects of the downtown business district by improving economic management, strengthening public participation, recruiting new businesses, rehabilitating buildings, and making downtown a fun place to visit.

General Membership Meeting
Our next General Membership Meeting will be on Thursday, May 7 at 9:00 a.m. at the MSA Community Center. You do not need to be a member to attend! This is a great way to introduce yourself and network with business/building owners and citizens while learning what is happening in Amherst. Minutes from previous meeting are available online.
Wine & Chocolate Walk - Sponsored by Nordson Corporation
It is that time of year again, the annual Wine & Chocolate Walk. The event will be held on Sunday, May 17th from noon to 5 p.m. All tickets are SOLD OUT! Thank you.
The day of the event:
1. Bring your ticket with the information on the back filled out.
2. Registration will take place between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Once registration is over you will no longer be able to participate.
3. Each ticket holder must be present with their ticket in order to get their bag and information to participate.
4. Registration will take place on the loading dock behind the M.S.A. Community Center.
This is wonderful opportunity for business owners to meet 325 future customers. If your business would like to participate in the Wine & Chocolate Walk, please complete this form and return it to the M.S.A. Office by Friday, April 3, 2015. Even though your business may not be in the downtown area you can still participate by setting up a table in an existing business, a table in M.S.A. Community Center or in LifeCare Ambulance's building. For more details please look at the form above. We need all businesses to fill out the form and return it so that your business name is on the map that is handed to each of the 325 participates.

Are you a local entertainer or business looking to attract new customers? Walkin' on Wednesdays (WOW) is a great way to share your talent with a new audience. MSA is looking for all types of entertainment - musicans, face painters, magicians, balloon artisits, and more - to perform once a month during June, July, August and September. If you are not an entertainer but would like to promote your business WOW is a great way to get the word out.
