Pride Day
Main Street Amherst, along with the City of Amherst, will be hosting the annual “Pride Day” on Saturday, May 18th from 9:00 a.m. – 12 p.m. Volunteers are needed to help with the clean-up along the downtown Amherst business district, Maude Neiding Park, etc. Bring a broom, dustpan, clippers, and/or a rake. Trash bags will be provided. Volunteers are asked to meet at the Main Street Community Center, 255 Park Avenue at 9:00 a.m. For more information or to sign up to volunteer, call 440-984-6709.
Wine & Chocolate Walk
Stroll downtown Amherst on Sunday, May 19 and be treated to a sample of wine or chocolate from all of our local businesses. You'll be sure to learn a new tidbit of info about our city while finding a new favorite shop or business. One of Main Street Amherst's most popular events!

Walkin' on Wednesdays
MSA is currently looking for local entertainers to volunteer their services during our summer entertainment series, Walkin' on Wednesdays. Held the second Wednesday of June, July and August, It is a great way to promote your talent to families, couples and community members. Amherst After Hours Networking
Our next quarterly networking will be Wednesday, July 24 at Ziggy's Pub & Restaurant from 5:00-7:00pm. Meet other professionals in the Amherst community while learning more about how MSA can help you build your business. Get to know MSA members socially as well as on a professional level. Snacks are provided along with a cash bar.
Infrastructure Improvements
The City of Amherst will be conducting infrastructure improvements througout the downtown this fall and into 2013. All downtown businesses will remain open during this contruction period.
