Two Amherst businesses and Main Street Amherst Supporters were honored at the annual Golden 30 Awards, featuring the top companies in Lorain, Erie and Huron Counties. The Mermaid's Tale placed first in the Established Business category while Nordson Corporation placed 15th. Congratulations to these great businesses.

Heart of the City Dinner Dance
Main Street Amherst's annual Heart of the City Dinner Dance will once again brighten the winter months here in Amherst. This year's event will be held on Saturday, February 25 at Deluca's Place in the Park.
Tickets are available for purchase online and by calling (440) 984-6709. You'll be treated to an elegant dinner along with two drink tickets, plus entertainment and
access to the event's exclusive silent auction with donations from Amherst's most popular businesses.

2012 Board of Directors Announced
Main Street Amherst has announced the realignment of its officers for 2012. John Dunn, a long-time Main Street Amherst Board member and valued volunteer, will serve as President. Cynthia McGuire, Past President, will oversee the growing Organization Committee which handles Supportership development. In addition, Melissa Timko, Judy Recknagel and Judi Butchko have taken on new roles for the Board of Directors.
